25th worldwide sketchcrawl!

I had to work at a conference the day of the actual sketchcrawl, but I got in a couple of sketches: but because i bascially had the same view all day, I got bored of it and only did those two sketches.

I met up with some Portland folks on Sunday at the Kennedy School

it's a great place to sketch!

with lots of interesting things to see and draw:

and it's all inside, warm and dry with hot beverages, too!

I had to work on the actual day of the Worldwide Sketchcrawl, so I sketched during training.

This morning, before meeting up with the Portland Sketchcrawlers, I sketched Tad at Mocha Mama's

We went to the Portland Japanese Garden

we started out as four we later found two more

and stumbled upon two more sketchcrawlers!

it was great to see a larger group of sketchers!

Cooler temps and even a rainy day in McCall, so I sketched more It was really nice to take the time to myself to focus on drawing.

I'm sharing more of my sketchbooks...




this is the first time i'm opening up a journal to share...my sketchbooks are different from my journals. Sketchbooks are carried around with me so I always have a place to sketch...my journal is at home, where I usually write or doodle or sketch in over coffee in the morning, or when I need a quiet moment to gather my thoughts...but this particular journal seemed to incorporate a lot of sketchbook elements to it, so I thought I'd share it....
